Getting 6 pack abs or simply a flat stomach is easy or hard.

It’s easy if you have a very high metabolism and do minimal amount of activity or exercise that allow the stomach muscles to firm themselves up. Sometimes as little as 10 minutes a day is enough.

However, if you are like 90% of us, our metabolisms are no longer high and sometimes over the years we have accumulated deposits in our intestines that need to be cleansed.

You can not get 6 pack abs if you are carrying around 5-15 pounds of toxic waste in your gut.

You can not show 6 pack abs if you unable to even consciously flex your stomach muscles. Try it now and see if you can cause inward movement of your stomach. If not, you have momentarily lost contact with the muscles that are there.

Sit-ups won’t make you lose the fat over the stomach muscles but they will help you to get back in direct conscious communication with these important core muscles.

Increasing your metabolism can be done in a number of ways but the obvious one is to gain more muscle. Muscle burns calories even when it is at rest.

Other ways of increasing your metabolism involve shocking your body ( NOT WITH ELECTRICITY ).

Please speak to a nutrition counsellor  and your health care professional before embarking on any activity that will shock your body.

If your doctor is overweight, smokes or is not obviously fit and vigorous, my suggestion is do NOT ask them for advice on whether you should get fit because we are 198% sure that they will tell you “Yes, but …”

No butts, my friend, lets just get up and do it.

If you are not generally in shape, start with a gentle walk 2 or 3 times a week and attempt to make that walk a little more vigorous in speed and length at time goes on.
